Amanda van Wyngaard

Amanda was born in Johannesburg and moved to Muizenberg with her Mother and sister at the age of 4. She has had a passion for the arts since she was a little girl and comes from a very artistic family. Her first taste of theatre was joining her Mother at the Masque Theatre in Muizenberg where she acted as one of the king’s children in the production The King and I. Towards the end of 1998 Amanda and her Mother returned to Johannesburg where her acting portfolio grew – she performed in many productions throughout primary school and church. Amanda attended The National School of The Arts in high school in Johannesburg and receiving numerous awards and half colours in Matric for Dramatic Arts. She enjoys singing and performing thoroughly.

Amanda currently works at a software development company as a Receptionist and her hobbies include performing, surfing, hiking, and making art.
