Ann Coetzee

Ann joined the Playhouse in 2007 on the suggestion of a friend when she moved to Somerset West from Johannesburg. Now some 14 years later she is still there and finds herself as Secretary of HHDS. She has been involved in countless productions - on stage, backstage and as a director. Whilst Ann confesses that singing is not a strength of hers, she appreciates all theatre genres from musical, to comedy and drama. Ann has won a number of theatre accolades for her contributions over the years, she has also acted as an adjudicator for various local amateur theatre award panels. Ann says “life would be a lot less busy, fun, frustrating and rewarding if I did not have the Playhouse in my life!”.
