About
Sam first joined The Playhouse Theatre while in high school, working backstage assisting with costumes and make-up, followed by a few minor roles in a number of productions. She studied Drama at City Varsity and, after almost a decade away, rejoined the Theatre in 2013, taking on the role of Blanche Dubois in the Theatre's first production of a Streetcar Named Desire. She has since been involved in numerous productions - both on and off stage - including, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Great Gatsby, Steel Magnolias, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and Of Mice and Men, amongst others. The Playhouse Theatre is a home away from home for Sam, and she will (hopefully) be a contributing member of The Playhouse Theatre for decades to come.
