Sashka Peterson

Sashka has loved the arts for as long as she can remember and at the age of 4, she began violin and ballet classes. In addition to violin, she also plays the piano and guitar. Sashka trains in classical singing; she achieved distinction for her Grade 5 Trinity exam and is currently preparing for her next exam. Sashka loves to perform and has been a part of several productions at the Playhouse; ballet shows with the Gail Hattingh School of Ballet, and in more recent years, productions with the Hottentots Holland Dramatic Society.

In 2021, Sashka will be performing in her first production at Artscape theatre, playing the role of ‘Edith’, in Gilbert and Sullivan’s production of the Comic Opera, ‘Pirates of Penzance’. She will also be the Musical Director for the annual children’s production Alice in Wonderland.

When she’s not on stage she’s likely to be somewhere behind the scenes. She is currently studying her A-levels in Psychology, Mathematics, and Physics. She dreams of gracing the West End stages on day.
