In ‘The Magical Seed’ audiences will be drawn into a quest to find the seed that will keep our forest growing and flourishing.
Sensory theatre is more about immersing the audience in a world using all five senses through sensory experiences rather than telling a story through traditional theatrical techniques. The primary aim of sensory theatre is to create an experience that audiences of all perspectives and abilities can enjoy while removing the barriers that might exist for audiences in traditional theatre and productions.
Audiences are very small (usually around eight people) and all five senses are engaged (at different times). The performances explore different ways of perceiving and are deeply responsive to the audience members, leading to an experience that can be different for each individual, but allowing all to experience the joy of performance and explore the worlds that theatre opens up. With some adjustments, sensory theatre is also a wonderful experience for pre-verbal babies.
