Jarred Pitout

Jarred is the Head of Sport at Parel Vallei High School; he is an avid sportsman and hockey coach but likewise loves to step onto stage and into the spotlight. He has been in many shows at the Playhouse from musical productions, to dance shows and music showcases. In 2019 he also became featured male vocalist for Playhouse favourites; the Shiraz band.

Jarred has received many CATA and HHDS accolades during his acting career, he has also performed at the CATA Awards on several occasions and has opened the award giving ceremony twice. Jarred believes that the Playhouse Theatre offers the community a place of safety and love, and platform for expression and creativity for people of all ages. The theatre holds many fond memories for him and his family; his late Father was the former Theatre Manager and sound operator, and his Mother still manages the Front of House.
